Meet at the Air Canada Group Desk no later than 7:30 a.m.
Air Canada flight 8092 to Vancouver
9:30 a.m. to 10:20 a.m.
Air Canada flight 35 to Osaka
1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (no-it's not really two hours!)

Thursday, April 3rd, 2008

Arrive Osaka Airport at 3:55 p.m. local time.
Train from Osaka to Kyoto.
Check in at Sanoya Ryokan.

Friday, April 4th, 2008

Bus Tour of Kyoto
Kyomizydera Temple
Nijo Castle
Nishijin Textile Center
Ginkakuji Temple
Ryoanji Temple
Travel by bus to Himeji and meet homestay families

Saturday, April 5th and Sunday, April 6th, 2008

Activities with Homestay Families

Monday, April 7th, 2008

Meet at Himeji JR Station, Main Gate, 9:00 a.m.
Tour Himeji Castle and Kokoen Garden

Tuesday, April 8th, 2008

Come to school with host students
Himeji-Minami Opening Ceremony
Tour Mt. Shosha

Wednesday, April 9th, 2008

Meet at Himeji JR Station at 8:30 a.m.
Travel by Shinkansen to Hiroshima
Visit the Peace Museum
Shop and Tour Hiroshima
Take the ferry to Miyajima
Check into Morinoyado Ryokan

Thursday, April 10th, 2008

Tour Miyajima's mountains, shrines and temples
Travel by Shinkansen back to Himeji

Friday, April 11th, 2008

Come to school with host students
Attend classes at Himeji-Minami
Visit Hirohata Kindergarten and Myochin Ironworks
Sayonara Party at 5:00 p.m.

Saturday, April 12th, 2008

Leave by bus for Osaka Airport at 1:00 p.m.
Air Canada flight 36 to Vancouver
5:25 p.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Air Canada flight 8095 to Seattle
2:10 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
We'll go through customs in Vancouver so please arrive promptly to pick up your tired, happy students!
